Charlie Hayes-Cowley
I have 10 years of experience in providing quality hair and makeup services, and have recently worked alongside some of the industry’s best in fashion and TV as well as working with a magnitude of celebrities and influencers.
My passion for hair and beauty began 10 years ago and started from me learning tricks of the trade through YouTube videos. Since then I have worked hard on turning my childhood dream into a reality. At only the age of 11, I opened CHC Styles Instagram page, creating hair styles and make up looks on myself and close friends; which allowed me to get work experience on wedding photo shoots to Lincoln Fashion Week working alongside Tony and Guy. From the excitement of doing these events at such a young age, I knew this was going to be my career path, which is when I found the London College of Fashion. All my educational choices; such as my GCSE’s and A-level’s, where focused on gaining entry into my dream University and highly competitive course.
To my delight, I was accepted onto the course after partaking in many different entry rounds, against thousands of other applicants and I made it into the top 40 selected for my course. I graduated with the bachelor of Arts with First Class honours degree in hair and makeup for Fashion at the prestigious and renowned University of the Arts London in 2023.
My first professional job was when I was chosen to be the hair and make-up artist for the BBC Gospel Choir in 2019, I have since worked on various London fashion week events, fashion runways, fellowship hair show, and assisted high end MUAs on exclusive events and jobs and carried out editorial shoots for pap, and mob magazine.
Launching my mobile studio is the next step for me, I wanted to launch something unlike anything else out there. This really is luxury brought straight to your door at your convenience for all events.
It was important for me to launch my exclusive mobile beauty studio in my home City of Lincoln; the very first high end mobile beauty studio in the City, before venturing further afield to surrounding Cities including Leeds, London, Manchester and more.
I was recently entered into and was delighted to be voted in the top three in Mobile Business of the Year Health and Beauty Awards, within the first couple of months of launching my mobile business.
This is only the beginning for CHC Styles!
As we grow I want to expand into other services, treatments and my own product range.
I am proud of what CHC Styles has accomplished so far, and I am excited for the journey to come!
